Good News For Nas On The Personal Front!

When rap superstar Nas (one of my faves) split with his ex-wife Kelis (another one of my faves), they were engulfed in a very bitter legal battle that involved Nas paying Kelis hefty child and spousal support payments.

Nas and his legal team argued that the payments were excessive and would honestly put a huge dent in his financial empire that he had acquired.

But ahhhh, God heard Nas' prayers and answered them by a judge slicing his child and spousal support in half. 

According to legal docs filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Nas must now pay a tad over $5,000 a month in child support and $20,000 a month in spousal support.

It sounds like a lot, but Nas was paying twice that until he convinced the judge the bad economy has even hit the rap biz hard.

I know Nas is somewhere happier than Flash at Chipotle eating a steak burrito bowl!
