Matthew Knowles Speaks On His "American Story" (VIDEO)

In the above clip, Beyonce and Solange Knowles' father, Matthew Knowles, shares what his American Story is. He goes on to explain that while growing up in Alabama, he always had a dream for himself of making it into the music industry. And when he and Tina decided to have children, he wanted to foster and manage their dreams of being in the arts.

When speaking of his "daughters", Matthew also included Kelly Rowland in his family. I thought that was such a sweet sentiment!
