While on her Sirius XM show 'Rosie Radio', she explained:
"I just don't know why this kid seems to be held to a different standard than anyone else." When Rosie's executive producer implied there is a racial aspect at play, Rosie replied: "I totally think there is, and I also think it's why he felt he was safer with Robin Roberts [who is also African-American]." Rosie added that she felt "mildly angry" at Robin while watching her interview Chris. In terms of the racial aspect with how the media is treating Chris Brown, I COMPLETELY agree with Rosie! Unless you are a black person living in this country, many will NEVER understand what it feels like to "live and be black". Let's face it, the playing field is NOT even. It's something that we are told from the beginning that we just have to "deal" with. It's pretty obvious and apparent that Chris Brown and Charlie Sheen are treated differently in the media. Chris has been called a "thug", etc. while Charlie sells out "comedy shows" in minutes. Am I LYING? Oh, okay....you do the math.
Now, as for Rosie being "mildly angry" at GMA's Robin Roberts...WHY???? What did she do exactly? She is a journalist, first and foremost. Her job is to ask pertinent questions that her audience is looking for. As for Breezy losing his cool and throwing a chair through a window, well...THAT'S.HIS.DUMB.AZZ.
