So some close minded people still fail to realize that it's 2011 and we live in AMERICA....land of the "FREE", home of the brave! After Chaz Bono, the series’ first transgendered contestant and now son to mega-star Cher, announced his participation on Dancing With The Stars, he has been bombarded with ignorant and bigoted comments by some people who really don't matter at the end of the day!
And now, Cher has taken to her Twitter account to voice her concerns and stand up for her son against these small minded people:

“Thanks for all your support mom. The haters are just motivating me to work harder and stay on DWTS as long as I possibly can.”Good for him!
