The Gala, which is an annual event, is held in support of HIV/AIDS research. It draws huge stars and fashion heads around the world to raise money for this important issue. amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala is the hottest party of the Cannes Film Festival schedule, and this year the event chairs include big names like Janet Jackson, Milla Jovovich, Gwen Stefani, and Beyonce Knowles.

amfAR’s annual Cinema Against AIDS 2010 Benefit Gala in Cannes brought out a star-studded ensemble of who's WHO in Hollywood and around the world!

Among the guests were Paris Hilton, Rachel Bilson, Emily Blunt, Mischa Barton, Michelle Williams, Kate Beckinsale, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Camilla Belle, Marion Cotillard, Naomi Campbell, Diane Kruger, Karolina Kurkova, Ana Beatriz Barros, Kirsten Dunst, Gerard Butler, Russell Crowe and wife Danielle Spencer, and Mary J Blige.
