Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has canceled plans to do a sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey ... in what would have been his first major interview since being released from prison. Vick released a statement saying, “After careful consideration, I will need to postpone the taping of the Oprah Winfrey interview scheduled for February 22." He continues, "I admire and respect Oprah and hope to be able to participate in an interview in the future.”
So it appears all is NOT lost! Just curious...what date is "in the future"??? Let us know, dammit....

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has just signed his 1st endorsement deal since serving time in prison for his now infamous dog fighting scandal. Vick has signed a two year contract to be the spokesman for Unequal Technologies, the maker of football pads. Hey, whatever works!
"We're real excited about it," Unequal Technologies chief executive officer Rob Vito said. "Michael is good people. He paid his dues. President Obama reached out to him. He deserves an opportunity. This is what makes America so great. He's moved forward. He's a whole other person."
Vito would say only that it's a "sizeable" deal.
"We believe it was worth it," he said, "because of Michael Vick and how he can shed light on the technology of our products."
Good for him! Hopefully, Nike and all of the other head honchos will follow suit next!
