Sad news for hip hop superstar Wyclef Jean. He has been disqualified as a candidate for president of his earthquake-shattered homeland of Haiti. But Jean is not going down without a fight! He vows to challenge the recent ruling (via his lawyer). Jean took to his Twitter page and said:
“We have met all the requirements set by the laws. And the law must be Respected.”He continued in a statement that read in part, “I will be seeking a solution through legal channels, and I urge my countrymen to be patient.”
YEP! He's serious. I'm curious to see how all of this ends.
