The film, which hist theaters November 5th, is based on the 1975 stage play of the same name, that focuses on seven women who discuss their battles with love, abandonment and domestic violence, and has an all-star cast that includes Anika Noni Rose, Kerry Washington, Janet Jackson, Kimberly Elise, Phylicia Rashad, Loretta Devine, Tessa Thompson, and Thandie Newton.
