It is now being reported that Teen Mom star Amber Portwood (20) has officially been charged with two felony counts and one misdemeanor for domestic violence and battery in connection with the attack on the father of her child Gary Shirley.
Under Indiana law, an incident of domestic abuse is considered a felony if a child is present for the abuse.
It's no secret that Gary and Amber have had a tumultuous relationship with each other since their daughter's , Leah, birth. In my opinion, they need to stay clear of each other.
Public Information Offer, Detective Mitch Carroll, says Amber will likely be issued a warrant through the Madison County Prosecutor’s Office. According to a press release, “the affidavit has been submitted to the prosecutor for formal charges. If convicted, Portwood faces up to three years in jail and fines of up to $10,000.”
