Lady GaGa is a true musical force, and yesterday she proved that when her album sales for "Born This Way" were revealed: 1,108,000 copies!!! It is the best opening week performance since 50 Cent's The Massacre sold 1,141,000 in 2005. It makes Gaga only the fifth female artist to record a 1m-plus sales week.

GaGa's album brought Adele's reign on the Billboard charts to an end after spending weeks at the top spot!
