Retired NBA star Shaquille O'Neal's name is now involved in a serious allegation in which a man by the name of Robert Ross accuses  Ladell Rowles -- a member of the Main Street Mafia Crip Gang in L.A. who is friends with Shaq -- along with 7 other members of allegedly kidnapping, beating up and robbing him due to a claim of Ross being in possession of a tape showing Shaq having sex with other women while he was married to ex-wife Shaunie O'Neal.

Boston Celtic's star Shaquille O'Neal was dressed to the 9s in a Conductor's ensemble as he conducted the Boston Pops Orchestra and  the Tanglewood Festival Chorus on Monday at the Symphony Hall in Boston, Massachusetts.

Shaq told ESPN: “[Celtics PR director Heather Walker] asked me if I wanted to conduct the orchestra. I was like, ‘Seriously, like a real orchestra?’ I have a whole new respect for conductors. I went through a rehearsal today, and my arms are shot right now.”

"BBW's" Sister Breaks Her Silence On Shaq!

Right in time before the 2nd season premiere of VH1's Basketball Wives, Laura Govan - sister to Gloria Govan - has finally decided to break her silence to Sister 2 Sister magazine about her alleged affair with Shaunie O'Neal's ex, Shaq.

Laura is fiance to troubled NBA star Gilbert Arenas, and got very candid about their relationship, thoughts on the show BBW, and more . Check out some excerpts below:

Why she declined to be on BBW:

“I didn’t want to do it because I’ve never asked to be in the public eye,” explained Laura. “I’m educated. I want to make sure that my children have a role model in the sense of whatever that means to me. I want them to see that mommy is doing things other than being behind daddy and going to games and being cute.”

Ummmmm, that was a READ!!! "I'm educated" "....being cute"???? hahahahahahaha 

In the December issue of Sister 2 Sister, Laura finally addresses the rumors of her and Shaq’s affair. Not only does she deny that anything happened, she points the finger at Shaunie for running with a rumor that both couples knew to be false. She explains why she never called Shaunie to plead her innocence and sheds light on the true nature of their friendship. Spoiler alert: They weren’t BFFs, contrary to how their relationship was portrayed in the media. 

On meeting/being with Gilbert Arenas:

“I was like, ‘Being an athlete doesn’t impress me.’ I said, ‘If you really want to go out with me, you’ll work for my family.’” Her dad owned a jazz club and she promised him a date if he worked there. “That weekend this boy was taking tickets at the door. People were like, ‘Aren’t you Gilbert Arenas?’” Laura was shocked to see him there. “And then he wouldn’t leave! He was filling salt and pepper shakers and pouring water.”

“I was in a master’s/PHD program, so as I was finishing my master’s, he would come and sit in the parking lot and wait for me for three hours. I thought, okay, you know what? He’s serious.”

This is getting me REALLY excited about the upcoming season of BBW! I hear it will be drama filled.....YES!!!

Twitter Is The DEVIL: "Basketball Wives PLUS Shaunie O'Neal Let Shaq Have It On Twitter!!!

Seeeeee, didn't I tell you that Twitter is the devil and will cause some folks a lot of heartache and pain?!?!

So I'm just minding my business on Twitter (*et hem* being rather nosy), when I started viewing tweets from some of the cast of VH1's Basketball Wives goin' innnnnnnn on your boy Shaq. So of course I had to investigate further! For those that don't know, Shaq posted a YouTube video where he went live on ustream singing in a wig while pouring water all over his body; and all of this buffoonery was taking place during the season premiere of Basketball Wives! I guess he wanted the attention allllll on himself, and not on his wife airing his dirty laundry! Do better next time Shaq and you won't have these problems....k!

And to add insult to injury, according to TMZ, Shaq believes his estranged wife Shaunie O'Neal may be cooking up a "televised revenge" plot on her VH1 reality show -- and now he's making legal threats to keep her from Shaq-bashing on the air. Shaq's lawyer has fired off a letter to the network -- obtained by TMZ -- in which he demands VH1 immediately halt production on "any further episodes of 'Basketball Wives' which make any reference to Mr. O'Neal." Shaq's lawyer claims Shaunie signed a confidentiality agreement at some point in their relationship -- so if she says anything about Shaq on TV, she and the production company will find their asses in court. The first episode of the show already ran last week and show #2 -- which reportedly features a scene centered around Shaunie's relationship with Shaq  -- is scheduled to run Sunday. Sources close to the show tell us it's unclear whether or not the next episode will make air.
