Lingerie For Little Girls?!?!?!?

WHOA! This is a bit much!

French lingerie company Jours Après Lunes produced a lingerie line for little girl, Dancers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LITTLE.GIRLS.!!!!
It basically looks like lingerie–with maybe a tad more coverage–and would be totally okay for adults to wear but Jours Après Lunes is producing this stuff for girls ages 4-12 (the “loungerie” for the 3 month – 36 month age range is actually age-appropriate and cute, thankfully), so that mother and daughter can match. According to the site, the designer has a long background in designing lingerie (for grown ups) and she’s designed a “femme” collection for the over-tween set.
It's pretty obvious that the French aren't as sensitive as Americans are when it comes to children and sexuality.

Solange Knowles, Selita Ebanks And Cassie Are Beautiful In New "Carol's Daughter" Ad!

GORGE GORGE GORGE!!!!!!!!

Dancers, check out a new Carol’s Daughter multiracial ad campaign featuring Solange Knowles, Selita Ebanks and Cassie. The new campaign showcases three beautiful women who have three different hair textures.

Carol’s Daughter aims to showcase the customers who can’t be neatly slotted into one category or another. Take, for instance, Cassie, who is of black and Filipina descent, or Ebanks, who has Jamaican, Irish, Indian and African heritage and grew up in the Cayman Islands.  Knowles is of  African-American and French Creole descent.
“They will serve as cultural ambassadors in bringing forth this acceptance  that the definition of beauty is now colorless,” said Steve Stoute.  “There are no  longer boxes of white, black, Latina, Asian. More and more women are  checking the other box.” According to Stoute, the trio was chosen because aside from their beauty “they share the vision and embody the messaging in  their attitude, appearance, projects and core values.”

“Carol’s Daughter doesn’t have just one direct demographic,” said Ebanks.  “Solange’s hair is a different texture than mine; so is Cassie’s. Our skin and body types are different. Today, people are blended, and I think the three of us are a prime example. Women in my family range from vanilla to the deepest chocolate.”

While the brand will continue to use longtime spokespeople and investors Jada Pinkett Smith and Mary J. Blige, as well as [founder] Lisa Price, in brand visuals, the three new spokeswomen speak to the “millennial generation, which is basically a colorless society,” said Stoute.

I think the ad is FABULOUS! And the women? Equally as so.....

This Anti-Abortion Ad Is Causing A Major Uproar!

As it should be! This is extremely upsetting.....

According to the That's Abortion website:
A billboard that reads, "The most dangerous place for an African American is in the womb," has been placed in the heart of SoHo by Life Always™ as a part of a new national campaign to expose the truth about how Planned Parenthood targets minority neighborhoods as they perform over 300,000 abortions a year. This particular billboard is about half a mile from a Planned Parenthood abortion facility. Life Always board member Stephen Broden said that Planned Parenthood has had a devastating effect on the sustainability of the African American population."
What are your thoughts, Dancers?

Kelly Osbourne's "Material Girl" Campaign Has Arrived!

Kelly Osbourne looks slim, trim, edgy and girly for the new Material Girl’s Spring 2011 collection!

I dig it!!!
As we previously reported, Kelly-O replaced Gossip Girl's Taylor Momsen as the new face of Madonna and daughter Lourdes' line, and I have to admit...I'm liking Kelly more as the new face! Do you agree?

Kelly had this to say about the line: “I think Material Girl is a brand for any woman and every woman - it’s affordable to everyone, it makes you feel special when you wear it! It’s edgy, but at the same time, really classic.”
