BREAKING: Lindsay Lohan Fails Drug Test + Takes To Twitter

I am COMPLETELY dumbfounded by this!

In very shocking news (I don't even know why I'm shocked), it has been confirmed that actress Lindsay Lohan has failed a drug test in her criminal case, and according to the terms of her probation, she will get 30 days in jail for a positive drug test.

WOW!

What drugs you ask??? She tested positive for COCAINE, sources are reporting!

Many are asking what action the Judge will place on her? She was currently preparing to leave for Louisiana where she would be filming a new movie entitled "The Inferno", and also let's not forget her rumored gig to host SNL in New York for their season opener. But now,  because of the dirty drug test, Judge Elden Fox  could could put the kibosh on all of that, restricting her travel.

Lindsay took to her Twitter account early Saturday morning to confirm the reports. View it under the break.....

Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result. Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward every day. I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future. This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I'm prepared to face the consequences. I am so thankful for the support of my fans, loved ones and immediate family, who understand that i am trying hard, but also that I am a work in progress, just as anyone else. I am keeping my faith, and I am hopeful....Thank you all!!!
Dug abuse is way BIGGER than the person in question. This young girl needs SERIOUS help. Anytime you are as big of a public figure as Lindsay where EVERYONE is watching your every move, and you continue to use drugs? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know there are extreme issues there. And until you have been in a position like this, I would try not to judge it.

I honestly wish the girl the best, but the road to recovery will NOT be an easy one. And in my opinion, JAIL IS NOT THE ANSWER FOR HER. She needs treatment.....long-term treatment at that!

Praying for her and her family.....
