New Music Video: Kanye West "Runaway" (Full Length)

Here's what we've all been waiting for, Dancers!

Check out the world premiere of Kanye West's new film Runaway (written and co-directed by Hype Williams) which features model Selita Ebanks. It premiered yesterday on MTV and BET.

The film, based on a failed relationship between Kanye West and a phoenix (Ebanks), honestly left me quite perplexed. And that's not a bad thing. I like feeling a little stumped when viewing a video or seeing a film. It allows me to explore further and seek MY OWN meaning than what is on the surface. "It's a process" (Kanye) for me. I'm still figuring it out.

In the opening line of the film, West says "First rule in this world, baby, don't pay attention to anything you see in the news." He later explained the line, "I just thought that was so funny," he revealed. "When me and Hype sat and wrote the entire script we had a lot more dialogue and I just thought that was a poignant thing. I thought of it just on set ... for the first thing for you to hear me actually say on my first film. 'Cause everyday on the news there's some new bullsh-- about me or whatever or about everything going on. Once you're on this side of the camera you're like, 'Aw man, none of this stuff is actually real.' "

I'm hearing that the film represented 'Ye's relationship with Amber Rose. Hmmmmm. Do what you will with that tid bit.

So, Dancers....what are your thoughts? Were you a fan?

I encourage you all to dig deeper.
