Nicki Spits Venom At Lil Kim During Hot 97 Interview!!!

Oh, so now you're mentioning her name, eh? Chiiiiiile.....

So this past Friday, Nicki Minaj got a little comfortable during an interview with Angie Martinez's radio program on Hot 97. Of the many things they discussed were her album, her success in the music industry and her MUCH TALKED about beef with Lil Kim.

Prior to this, Nicki would never mention Kim's name and would skirt around addressing the beef, but now Mizz Barbie got very comfortable and was sort of pissed off at the Brooklyn MC (tryna sell more records and shyt).

“She just really jumped out the window and you got to be careful when you pick fights. I think people get me mistaken with a real Barbie. They forget where I’m from and if I have to revert back, I can and I will.

And WHAT will happen if you revert back??? Girl, BYE.....

“It’s one of those moments where you say, ‘Don’t play with me,’ because I respect you, I love you, I’ve said it in every interview time and time again, and if that’s not good enough with you mama, then it’s something deep rooted in you. Something is bothering you inside. That’s your insecurity bothering you. [If] it’s not Nicki Minaj, it would have been any girl that started poppin’. She picked a fight with Foxy [Brown], then she picked a fight with Eve, then she picked a fight with Remy [Ma], then it was Ms. [Voletta] Wallace, then it was Nicki Minaj. Everytime you in the news is ’cause you gettin’ at somebody. Where’s your music? Put your music out. When I see your name on Billboard, that’s when I’ll respond to you. Other than that, goodbye.”

So my thoughts about the interview are this: I COMPLETELY understand what Nicki is talking about (SHOCKING I know, but I can admit that.), but I am a fan FIRST of Lil Kim so my loyalty will always lie there. Even though I rag on her on this blog, she is quite entertaining and I find myself knowing lots of her lyrics. BUT, I have heard Pink Friday and it's straight GARBINO. I think that's one of the reasons why I can't fully embrace her like a Kim or Foxy. Her music lacks substance. I have heard Nicki on a couple interviews citing Kim as one of her faves in the business. But the problem I have with Nicki and THIS interview is when did you grow balls all of  sudden? She was really talking like she was about to handle her business and GET AT Kim if need be. And let's be honest.....you need more people, doll!

It's no secret that Kim is a HOT HEAD, and when she has said that Nicki has shot subliminals at her and other female MCs, I believe her because I've heard them myself. So of course, (knowing Kim's track record) she is NOT going to take the assualt lying down.

I'm gonna close out my remarks with this. Kim, if I know you like I think I know you, YOU BETTER NOT take this assault lying down. Home-girl came waaaaaaaay outta pocket for you not to reply back with a diss record, knock on her Mama door, or engage in a good ole street fight (if need be).
