Keith Olbermann Signs Off From MSNBC!

What The FRENCH....Toast! Did I miss something? Keith, say it ain't so!!!!!!

MSNBC's Countdown With Keith Olbermann host Keith Olbermann has officially signed off from his duties on his popular show. MSNBC has released the following statement:
MSNBC and Keith Olbermann have ended their contract. The last broadcast of "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" will be this evening (1.21.2011). MSNBC thanks Keith for his integral role in MSNBC's success and we wish him well in his future endeavors.
This is BULLSHYT! That is why I believe that just like print media, television media will soon die....READ THE INTERNET!!!

So what happened? Lots of people are keeping tight lipped. But reports are stating that his contract wasn't renewed due to his suspension last November (for giving funds to a Democratic who was running for office - a "no-no" under his NBC contract), or the main one was COMCAST's acquisition due to the departure of NBC's CEO Jeff Zucker.

According to TMZ: "Comcast honchos did not like Keith's defiance and the way he played in the sandbox." They also said Keith has around two years left on his contract, and he'll be paid his salary -- around $7 million a year.

Ha! EFF 'Em!

This is a sad day in television, I tell ya. But one thing is for certain, Keith will not be without a job for long. He has many supporters and those who truly appreciate his "stick it to 'em" rhetoric that has made him popular all these years.

YOUR LOSS, NBC!
