The "Ides of March" movie premiere went down last night at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City.
The film, starring George Clooney, Ryan Gosling, Marisa Tomei, and Evan Rachel Wood, highlights the everyday corruption that goes on inside the political world that can often times be mind boggling.
Sir Clooney spoke on the widespread appeal of the political thriller:
"Everywhere it's played, they think it's got something to do with their politics. When I had to pitch this movie, I would say, 'OK, here's why it's universal and not just an American film about delegate counts.' I pitched the idea of a morality tale."More flix from the premiere under the break.....
