"The View's" Sherri Shepherd Gets Married (FIRST PHOTO)

The View's co-host Sherri Shepherd tied the knot to her prince charming Lamar "Sal" Sally this weekend in Shepherd's hometown of Chicago, IL. 

Life&Style has the exclusive first photo of the couple on their wedding day that took place at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago. Shepherd's bridesmaids included View co-host Elisabeth Hassleback, TV personality Niecy Nash, Kym Whitley and others. 

"Second chances really do happen, and I got mine!" Sherri, 44, who'd been married once before, exclusively tells Life & Style. "I'm married now!"

SHOCKING! "The View's" Joy Behar Ties The Knot!

HUH?!?!?!? If you are an avid watcher of "The View" like I am, then you are fully aware of why this is shocking news!

"View" Co-Host Joy Behar (one of my faves on the panel) has vowed that she would NEVER get married again, although she has been with her partner for 29 years. WELP! She has finally eaten those words:

The View co-host Joy Behar is going to have plenty to talk about when the show returns next month. After dating for 29 years, the View co-host, 68, and beau Steve Janowitz have tied the knot. "She was married in New York City last night in a private ceremony," a rep for the show tells PEOPLE. "She will discuss it on Sept. 6 on The View when the show returns for the 15th season." Behar's wedding date, Aug. 11, also coincidentally marks the 14th anniversary of the ABC daytime show's debut in 1997. In 2009, Behar announced she and Janowitz, whom she referred to as her "spousal equivalent," had plans to wed. But later that year, she said broke off the engagement, blaming "cold feet."

Nick Lachey And Vanessa Minnilo Tie The Knot!

Congratulations are in order for Nicky Lachey (Jessica Simpson's ex-hubby) and his long time girlfriend Vanessa Minnilo as the two tied the knot in a tropical island ceremony earlier today.

"For us, this is just a stepping stone to do what we ultimately want and that’s to start a family together."

"Nobody knew where they were going," says Minnillo, 30.

Adds Lachey, "Our wedding invitations were in the form of a plane ticket. We told them they were going away and the attire was ‘island chic.’ It was all very vague."

Minnillo, the new host of Wipeout, donned a two-piece Monique Lhuillier ensemble featuring an intricately embellished lace corset with rose and crystal detail, paired with a signature hand tufted skirt made of silk faille.

The look was completed with a tailored bow belt at her waist and chapel length tulle veil.

Lachey, 37, who hosts The Sing-Off, sported a Dolce & Gabanna suit.

Their wedding will be televised on a TLC's special called Nick & Vanessa's Dream Wedding premiering on July 30 from 9-11pm ET/PT.

Actress Tamera Mowry Gets Hitched!

CONGRATS are in order for actress Tamera Mowry (Sister2Sister) and Fox News Channel correspondent Adam Housley, as the couple got married in Napa Valley on Sunday!

The Sister, Sister star, 32, and Housley, 39, tied the knot at an inn and vineyard surrounded by 300 guests. Mowry wore a wedding gown by Carolina Herrera as she exchanged traditional vows with Housley.

 

"I've always wanted an outdoor wedding with lots of flowers," Mowry tells PEOPLE of the day planned by event planner Mindy Weiss. "I feel so lucky to have this beautiful day marrying my best friend." Among the bride's eight bridesmaids were maid of honor Andrea Regalado and Mowry's twin sister and matron of honor Tia Mowry. Housley and his eight groomsmen, including brother and best man Arik, wore tuxedos and Converse sneakers.

 "I feel so blessed to be marrying such an amazing man," says Mowry. Adds Housley: "Tamera is beautiful inside out."

Solidifying their love for one another, LeAnn Rimes tied the knot with Eddie Cibrian in Malibu, CA on Friday (April 22). The country singer and her actor beau held a private ceremony at a local residence - surprising guests with the nuptials after the 40 attendees were expecting an engagement party. With Cibrian's sons Mason, 7, and Jake, 4, from his previous marriage to Brandi Glanville among the onlookers, Rimes' spokesman, Rhett Usry, told People on Friday evening, "LeAnn and Eddie were happily married today surrounded by their closest family and friends. They thank everyone for their well wishes."

And in true over zealous fashion, the new Mrs. Cibrian tweeted:

After widespread speculation hit the internet whether or not R&B singer Monica and Lakers star Shannon Brown are married, he finally confessed the news to the Hip Hop Non-stop TV Show.

The couple haven't been together for a full year yet, but that didn't stop them from taking their relationship to the next level with Monica moving from her hometown of Atlanta with her children to be with Shannon in Los Angeles! We're hearing that the couple will be planning a big ceremony for their friends/family after Shannon's season comes to a close later this year.

Katy Perry And Russell Get Married!!!

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS go out to Russel Brand and his lady love Katy Perry as they have gotten married!

The couple tied the knot this past Saturday night in the countryside of Northern India. "The very private and spiritual ceremony, attended by the couples' closest family and friends was performed by a Christian minister and longtime friend of the Hudson Family", confirmed by their reps. 

Brand, 35, and Perry, 25, wanted to keep with the traditions of an Indian wedding by following the country's beliefs and principles:

In a traditional Indian wedding procession, known as the "bharat," the bridegroom and his male relatives and friends walk to the spot where the bride awaits. The bridegroom is often on a white horse, but an elephant is considered an even grander, more magnificent mode of transportation – the maharajas, or Indian royals, traditionally arrived at weddings on elephants.

The sound of Indian instruments – including the sitar, the santoor, the tabla and kettle drums – and the singing of traditional Rajasthani folk musicians could be heard from deep inside the Aman-i-Khas resort, along with some sacred Vedic chanting and the occasional burst of applause and cheering by the guests.

At the entrance, the trees lining the path into the venue were lit up with white and gold lights.

Lady GaGa And Beau Engage In A ‘Commitment Ceremony’

Lady GaGa and boyfriend Luc Carl have staged a special commitment ceremony in Greece to show friends and family how serious they are about each other. 

“It was nothing formal, they see it as their first step towards marriage,” a source told the British edition of Grazia magazine. “They both dressed up and said beautiful handwritten vows. They then exchanged rings in a spiritual service and drank shots before sitting down to a lovely private dinner at a tiny restaurant. They wanted to show that they are committed to each other and want to spend the rest of their lives together.”

GaGa even wore  long white Grecian-style gown for the event that was open all the way down the front with just a small gathering above her bellybutton showing her white knickers.

Of course she had to give that "GaGa flare".

“They are still planning to marry, but that will come later when she has the time to plan a big Italian-style wedding,” the source added. “She says he’s the one and she doesn’t want to lose him ever again.”

Exactly a year after they first got married, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have renewed their vows today at music industry executive Irving Azoff's family home in Beverly Hills, the same place where they married on Sept. 27, 2009. The renewal was a surprise to Khloe, who was spotted wearing a tight white dress and a blindfold while carrying white roses as she was led to the ceremony's site. "Lamar has truly made our anniversary more special than I ever could have imagined," Khloe wrote on her website earlier today. "The day has been somewhat like a treasure hunt, moving from one surprise to the next!" The couple renewed their vows in front of a few close friends and family, although notably absent were sisters Kim and Kourtney. "It was very intimate," a friend of Khloe's tells Life & Style. The couple will continue their celebration with a party tonight. "I can't believe it has ONLY been a year," Khloe wrote. "My life has changed so much and I as a person have changed even more. I have never been happier, never been so at peace, never been so in love."

"It was a totally amicable agreement. YEP....it's official!

As we reported last week, a 22 year old Hilary Duff made the plunge and married her hockey player fiance Mike Comrie, 29, this past Saturday during an intimate ceremony in Santa Barbara. About 100 guests were in attendance.

"Mike held his arm around Hilary for most of the romantic, candlelit ceremony, and they both looked extremely happy," says an eyewitness.

Just a week after ruling that Proposition 8 – a 2008 voter-approved ban on same-sex marriage – was unconstitutional, a federal district judge lifted a stay on his decision on Thursday, opening the door for untold numbers of gay couples to marry in the nation’s most populous state. But he delayed implementation of the order to lift his stay until Aug. 18. Vaughn R. Walker, the chief judge of the Federal District Court in San Francisco, who invalidated Proposition 8 in last week’s decision, had issued a temporary stay to allow for arguments whether same-sex ceremonies should be allowed to be performed pending an appeal by supporters of the ban.

Rapper T.I. (real name Clifford Harris) and longtime girlfriend, singer and BET reality star Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, tied the knot at a Miami Beach court. They'll repeat their vows in an elaborate ceremony in three cities, a rep for the couple tells UsMagazine.com exclusively. The couple will wed again Saturday in front of close family and friends (including Tiny's BET costar Antonia "Toya" Carter) on a small private island off the coast of Miami Saturday. Tiny will wear Valentino. They plan on returning to their hometown of Atlanta for a reception Saturday afternoon before jetting off to Las Vegas to celebrate with friends into the wee hours.They are returning to Atlanta early next week. The two have been dating since 2001.

CONGRATS to them both! Tiny has stayed by his side through all of the ups and downs. We wish them the best....
