Terrell Owens' financial situation is so dire, he filed papers in three separate child support cases to have his payments lowered ... because he makes ZERO DOLLARS ... this according to court docs.
A bench warrant was issued for T.O.'s arrest after he missed a court date with one baby mama ... to whom he's trying to lower child support payments.
Turns out ... T.O. has three OTHER baby mamas and over the past few months he's filed to have his payments reduced with two of them (and, according to his rep, he plans to file for a modification of support for the third).

Damn! This has to be extremely humbling for him! Once looked at as one of the top players in the NFL, now Terrell Owens is asking a judge to lower his child support payments.

Times are tough for Terrell Owens -- so much so the currently former NFL star is asking a judge to lower his child support payments ... TMZ has learned. Owens, who is currently not an NFL roster, wants to reduce the payments he's making for a son he shares with baby mama Monique Reynolds ... because, according to his rep, he's simply not getting paid these days. The rep says Owens wants to make the payments a little more reasonable, adding, "His child support payments should mirror his income today and not be based on his income from over four years ago." Owens was due in court in Northern California for child support modification hearing on October 24, but didn't show up. His rep says his lawyers tried to reschedule, but lawyers for Reynolds refused. T.O.'s audition for prospective NFL teams -- the one nobody showed up to -- was the next day.

In SHOCKING news....
Emergency officials were responding to a call about a possible prescription pill overdose when they were dispatched to the L.A. apartment where Terrell Owens was staying last week ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ. As we first reported, Owens was transported by ambulance to an L.A. hospital Thursday night. Cops were also dispatched to investigate -- and spoke with T.O. at the hospital. Owens has since been released. A rep for Owens had no comment on the matter. T.O. was famously hospitalized back in 2006 -- when he insisted he had a bad reaction to painkillers ... despite reports that he tried to commit suicide by inhaling 35 Vicodin pills. T.O. later held a news conference on the matter and stated, "The rumor of me taking 35 pills, I think is absurd. I don't think I would be here if I had taken 35 pills."
Pill overdose? Although this is surprising to me, I wouldn't be totally shocked! Nothing surprises me with these celebs anymore.....
