She has not secured a lead movie role in years, so now Lindsay Lohan hopes to pay her bills as the face of a new collection from German designer Philipp Plein, the New York Post reported Monday. Bizarrely, Lohan admitted that the collaboration came about so “spontaneously” that she had not met Plein until Friday or seen a stitch of the designer’s new line until Saturday. But Sunday, she posed for Plein’s new campaign at a shoot in Lake Como, Italy. “Something important to know about this collection is that its expressing something a little bit more edgy,” Lohan said, wearing a skintight black dress with spikes on the shoulders. “And I think maybe people’s perceptions of me have been kind of taken out of context just from what you see and read.” The troubled actress admitted that she and the designer “just met Friday,” but Plein thinks she is perfect. “For me she’s authentic, she’s talented, she’s beautiful,” he said at a news conference at Milan Fashion week.Call me crazy and naive, but I am rooting for this girl. Charlie Sheen is returning to TV! The former “Two and a Half Men” actor will star in “Anger Management,” a new sitcom loosely based on the 2003 comedy feature of the same name starring Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson. “I chose ‘Anger Management’ because, while it might be a big stretch for me to play a guy with serious anger management issues, I think it is a great concept,” Sheen said in a press release sent to Access Hollywood on Monday morning. “It also provides me with real ownership in the series, a certain amount of creative control and the chance to be back in business with one of my favorite movie producers of all time, Joe Roth.” According to the release, Sheen will play “a mild-mannered, non-confrontational man is ordered to attend group anger management sessions led by a therapist who could probably use some anger management himself.” The actor, who will retain a significant ownership stake in the series, will be reunited with producer Roth, who he’s worked with on five big screen features, including “Major League,” “Young Guns” and “Three Musketeers.” “Who better than Charlie Sheen to tackle ‘Anger Management,’” Roth said in a statement. “With Charlie’s incredible talent and comedic gifts, he remains the leading man of TV sitcoms. I’m excited to collaborate with him once again.”
Former "Real Housewives of New York City" star Bethenny Frankel is developing an advice-based talk show with the help of Ellen DeGeneres. Telepictures, the production company behind "Ellen," is producing the pilot, which will be filmed next Thursday (June 23) on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, CA, according to Broadcasting & Cable. The company is also behind Anderson Cooper's upcoming daytime show. The news shouldn't come as a surprise as Frankel indicated in a recent interview that she was looking to make the jump from reality TV star to talk show host. “I want to be on TV in a format where I can have a longer conversation with my fans rather than 140 characters on Twitter,” she told THR “It probably will be a talk show.” During Frankel's recent appearance on "Ellen," DeGeneres also briefly mentioned that they were working on a project together. Last fall, the talk show host and producer signed a deal with Telepictures to begin developing original scripted and reality programming for Warner Bros. Just when you thought you were going to get a vacation from Keith Olbermann, a publicist has sent out word that Keith is holding a news conference at 11 a.m. Tuesday to make an "exciting announcement" regarding the "next chapter in his remarkable career." Less than a month ago, Olbermann abruptly exited MSNBC where his "Countdown" had been the network's biggest draw. Both parties remain mum in re the circumstances of the departure. At the time of his exit, the Web site The Wrap reported Olbermann had his eye on creating a media empire like that of Huffington Post (which coincidentally announced Sunday that it was being purchased by AOL for $315 million.) Late Monday, speculation focused on Olbermann delving into an internet venture while also striking a deal with Current TV -- the liberal current affairs network available in just 60 million-ish U.S. homes, mostly on the digital tier, and that is privately and independently owned by former vice president Al Gore and others. Olbermann would have an equity stake in Current TV, which is scheduled to make its "upfront" presentation to advertisers about programming plans one day after Olbermann's announcement, noted the New York Times. Olberman is presumed to be precluded from having a regular TV gig for some set period, per terms of his exit from MSNBC.TEAM OLBERMANN!!!

Nelly becomes the radio station’s newest on-air personality for the afternoon drive. “We are thrilled to have the man who put St. Louis hip-hop on the map joining our team,” WHHL executives said in a statement. “We look forward to the kind of show only a star of this magnitude can bring to St. Louis.”But Nelly fans, don't worry....he hasn't given up on rapping, acting, and fashion.
