Kobe Bryant's Wife, Vanessa Bryant, Files For Divorce!

Kobe Bryant's wife has filed for divorce. Vanessa Bryant filed legal docs Friday afternoon, citing "irreconcilable differences." Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ ... Vanessa -- who stuck by Kobe after he was charged with sexually assaulting a Colorado woman in 2003 -- decided to end the marriage because she believes Kobe has been unfaithful ... again. As one source puts it, "She's been dealing with these incidents for a long time and has been a faithful wife, but she's finally had enough," adding, "This one is the straw that broke the camel's back." 

An NBA superstar who cheats on his wife?!?!? I've NEVER heard of such a thing.....

And our sources say ... Kobe "desperately" wants to win Vanessa back and will do "whatever it takes" to save their 10 1/2 year marriage. According to the legal docs, Vanessa is asking for joint custody of their 2 daughters -- 8-year-old Natalia and 5-year-old Gianna -- but Vanessa is asking that Kobe get visitation rights, which means she wants the kids in her care most of the time. We've learned the couple has NO PRENUP, so 29-year-old Vanessa is entitled to half of the empire Kobe built over the last decade. She's also requesting spousal support ... which is typical in divorce cases. 

HALF?!?!? *collapses*

Kobe, who filed his response to the divorce minutes after Vanessa filed her petition, says he will pay her spousal support. According to the docs, Vanessa is being repped by disso-queen Laura Wasser and attorney Samantha Klein. Wasser reps oodles of celebs, including Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie, Maria Shriver and Kim Kardashian.

So I'm hearing that since Kobe and Vanessa have been married for 10+ years in the state of California, that Vanessa is entitled to LIFE-LONG alimony!? WHEW!

Some say she might've timed it properly, and for that I give her a round of applause! I can't stress this enough, when you cheat on someone (especially REPEATEDLY), the outcome will NEVER be positive! But yall don't hear me tho....

Kobe Bryant And The Lakers Issue Anti-Gay/Bullying PSA (VIDEO)

Oh what a difference a week makes!

After being caught on camera mouthing a gay slur at a referee after what he perceived as a bad call, Kobe Bryant and his fellow Laker teammates are speaking out in a new anti-gay/bullying PSA to warn fans about the negative effects of ostracizing someone simply because they're different.

This PSA reads INAUTHENTIC to me...sorry.

Kobe Bryant Fined $100K By The NBA Homophobic Slur!

WELP! Can't blame anyone but himself...

League Commissioner David Stern had this to say as he levied the fine:

"Kobe Bryant's comment during last night's game was offensive and inexcusable. While I'm fully aware that basketball is an emotional game, such a distasteful term should never be tolerated. Accordingly, I have fined Kobe $100,000. Kobe and everyone associated with the NBA know that insensitive or derogatory comments are not acceptable and have no place in our game or society."

Let's be honest, $100K is a drop in the bucket for Kobe. But it's good to know that the NBA is against this sort for behavior.

Kobe Bryant Issues A Statement For Dropping The "F"-Bomb!

“What I said last night should not be taken literally. My actions were out of frustration during the heat of the game, period. The words expressed do NOT reflect my feelings towards the gay and lesbian communities and were NOT meant to offend anyone.”

I've made this comment before, but it seems as if I will have to repeat myself......Black people DO NOT like to be referred to as the N-word, and Gays DO NOT like to be referred to as the F-word. POINT.BLANK.PERIOD.!!!

When people start to realize this, we will inch a little closer to world peace....YES!

Both terms represent a negative and vile description of both groups, so using the word in ANY context will bring about an uproar.

Kobe, YOU, being a role model, should know and do better!!!

Did Kobe Bryant Hurl A Homophobic Slur At A Referee Last Night (VIDEO)???

Uh Ohhhhhhhh! According to this video, it seems as if!

Last night, the Los Angeles Lakers played a game against the San Antonio Spurs at the Staples Center when NBA superstar Kobe Bryant received a technical foul from NBA referee Bennie Adams and appears to mouth the words, "F**king f**got."

WHOA! No Bueno....ESPECIALLY when the cameras are following your every move!

You can even hear one of the commentators saying, "You might wanna take the cameras off of him right now, for the children watching." Uh, ya think?

A rep for the team says, "The Lakers can not confirm that is what Kobe said or not."

Yea, ok! That's EXACTLY what he said....PUUUULEASE!

I can understand why everyone else was there, especially since they are musicians, but I'm confused as to Kobe's role??? Hmmmmmmm......

Michael Jordan Thinks Kobe Is Better Than Lebron (VIDEO)

In a video that was taped LAST YEAR, THE GREATEST BASKETBALL PLAYER OF ALL TIME Michael Jordan decided to weigh in on the subject of who is better in basketball: Kobe Bryant Or Lebron James.

Of course this was before James decided to play with Dwayne Wade at the Miami and Kobe picking up yet another title.

Jordan still went with Kobe! And I agree.......
