Lauryn Hill Gives Birth To Her 6th Child!

WHEW! How does she do it all?

Lauryn Hill has added another member to her growing family. The former Fugee gave birth to a baby boy over the weekend. Hill, 36, welcomed a son with longtime boyfriend Rohan Marley on Saturday (July 23). The couple has five previous children together. According to Blackcelebkids.com, who first reported the news, the Grammy-winning singer “had a little scare because the baby came out the womb with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck.” But mother and child are doing fine. “All is well now and everyone is happy,” adds the source. Hill first hinted at her pregnancy at one of her recent concerts. “I keep having these children. I don’t know if I’m the most fertile woman in America,” she joked during a Los Angeles gig. She wrote an open letter to her fans last month where she addressed her pregnancy and apologized for being late to her shows. She is scheduled to perform at the Rock the Bells Festival next month.

Oh, so NOW Rohan Marley is claiming the kid? SMH.

Amy Winehouse's Family Issues Joint Statement About Her Death

Amy Winehouse's parents, Mitch and Janis Winehouse, have issued the following statement about the untimely death of their daughter over the weekend. Still makes me incredibly sad.....

“Our family has been left bereft by the loss of Amy, a wonderful daughter, sister, niece. She leaves a gaping hole in our lives. We are coming together to remember her and we would appreciate some privacy and space at this terrible time.”

Of course they did! These two are so far stuck up each other's azz, it's not even funny! 

In a cliff hanger from last week's episode of VH1's reality show hit "Basketball Wives", we were left seeing a highly pissed off Evelyn Lozada steaming mad at her "BFF" Jennifer Williams for not supporting her engagement to NFL star Chad 'Ochocinco' Johnson. Also, Evelyn was pissed (and rightfully so....it pains me to say that) at Jennifer for going on a radio program to voice her opinions that Chad was a 'media whore' (which he is!).

The drama came to a head when Evelyn pretty much cussed her "friend" Jennifer out in front of the Universe for not being there to her. Sooooooooooo, have they made up? YEP! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Jennifer was a crying mess and felt terrible for telling the truth, uhhhh...I mean, saying those "awful" things about Chad. Evelyn accepted her apology, consoled her and they lived happily ever after. Peep the sarcasm.....

As for the main event: Tami and Meeka? They still hate each other. And that's not gonna change. 

Sidebar - Tami...as much as I love you (and I really love you!), it's time to lay off Meeka. LOL. Everyone knows she's messy. Let her be!

I am completely shocked by this news!!! I know there are some that are NOT considering that it is Amy Winehouse, but when a person suffers from addiction the way that she has, it's just flat out sad that she lost her battle like this.

Troubled singer Amy Winehouse, known for her smoky soul voice and her struggle with drink and drugs, has been found dead at her flat in north London, police said. She was 27 years old. The Grammy award-winning soul singer with her trademark beehive battled with well-documented addictions that she documented in her hit single "Rehab". Her death is being treated as unexplained, Scotland Yard said. "Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square shortly before 4:05 pm (1505 GMT) today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased," a police statement said. "On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene. "Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained." London Ambulance Service said it had been called to the flat at 3:54 pm (1454 GMT) and sent two ambulances. Police officers remained on duty outside her home Saturday. There was no immediate comment from her agents. Winehouse rocketed to fame after winning five Grammy awards off the back of her 2006 second album "Back to Black" and the hit single "Rehab". In the run-up to her live return, Winehouse spent a week earlier this year at an addiction treatment clinic in London, reportedly at the suggestion of her father, Mitch, over concerns that she was drinking too much before her shows. But Winehouse pulled out of her European comeback tour following a disastrous opening performance in Serbia on June 18. She was booed at the performance in Belgrade, as she appeared to be too drunk to sing. Some 20,000 people gathered for the highly-promoted concert at the sixth-century Kalemegdan fortress, but many soon left. During the concert, which lasted about 90 minutes, Winehouse could only mumble some of the lyrics, failing to follow her band. Winehouse left the stage twice, with many fans showing their displeasure despite her band's attempts to calm the crowd. "Amy Winehouse is withdrawing from all scheduled performances," a statement from her representatives said. "Everyone involved wishes to do everything they can to help her return to her best and she will be given as long as it takes for this to happen." She had also been scheduled to perform in Istanbul, Athens, Bilbao in Spain, Locarno in Switzerland, Italy's Lucca festival, Switzerland's Paleo Festival in Nyon, Nova Jazz and Blues Night in Wiesen, Austria, and Poland's Bydgoszcz Artpop Festival. Known for her distinctive voice and beehive hairdo, Winehouse's debut album "Frank" was released in 2003 and brought her wide acclaim. It went triple platinum in Britain. The follow-up, "Back to Black", was a worldwide smash hit, reaching number one in Britain and number two in the US charts. It went six times platinum in Britain and double platinum in the United States. She married Blake Fielder-Civil in Miami in May 2007 but they had a tempestuous relationship. He spent part of their marriage behind bars for a vicious attack on a pub landlord and a subsequent attempt to cover it up. They divorced in July 2009.

She even brought out special guest, Jay-Z, for a performance of "Run This Town". I'm hearing the crowd went BONKERS when the Brooklyn MC touched the stage.  

But the main question of the day is, WHAT IN THE HELL IS RIHANNA WEARING? No. Seriously.

The spotting comes after the reality star sisters spent the day in San Francisco for a busy meeting schedule at Sears headquarters for their new Kardashian Kollection, which will hit stores in August.

Chris Brown Lands Movie Role In "Act Like A Lady....."

The young kid has a lot to prove, I see. And it appears he is proving his nay-sayers wrong. I'm not mad.....

He’s definitely mastered the world of pop music and now Chris Brown is looking to expand his acting portfolio. The “No Air” singer has been cast in the new romantic comedy “Think Like A Man,” based on a book by Steve Harvey. Starring alongside Mr. Brown in the flick, set to be released in April of next year, will be Gabrielle Union. The rom-com genre may not be the most natural for Brown, as two years ago he verbally and physically assaulted his then-girlfriend Rihanna.
