The Simpson sisters - a very pregnant Jessica and younger sister Ashlee - were all smiles at the launch of their "Jessica Simpson Girls" tween clothing line launch at the Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh, N.C over the weekend.

This marks the first public appearance that Jessica had made since finally announcing that she is in fact pregnant with fiance Eric Johnson. As if the viewing public were idiots, and didn't notice....

A radiant Jessica Simpson was on hand for an in-store appearance promoting her Ready-To-Wear Jessica Simpson Collection at Macy's Union Square in San Francisco, Calif on Saturday.

The singer/actress/fashion designer was joined by her fiance Eric Johnson as she mingled with fans, signed autographs and took pictures.

The Simpson Sisters, Nicole Richie And Samantha Ronson Vacay in Mexico!

It was a weekend getaway for friends and family as the Simspon sister - Jessica and Ashlee - along with BFFs Nicole Richie and Samantha Ronson were all on hand for a quick Mexican getaway to Los Cabos over the weekend.

Also joining the group was Jessica and Ashlee's dad, Joe Simpson, as well as Ashlee's new beau Vincent Piazza and Sam Ronson's designer sister Charlotte Ronson. 

Nicole recently celebrated her 30th birthday last week, and I'm assuming those festivities carried over to the land across the border. WHY NOT! I say party all month!

Jessica And Ashlee Simpson To Create Tween Apparel Line

Oh so that's what this lawyer-meeting was about!

According to WWD, Jessica Simpson has partnered with her younger sister Ashlee Simpson to develop a tween apparel line that will be hitting stores in the fall.

Watch out Kardashians!

The line will feature knit tops, hoodies, pullovers, striped shrunken knits, graphic T-shirts, drawstring pants, footwear and outerwear. And the Simpson sisters will serve as co-creative directors for the line.


”Creating a tween apparel collection was a natural extension for the brand,” Jessica tells WWD. “I’m excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today’s tweens.”
Ashlee, who has always been a big supporter of her big sis’s empire, agrees. “My goal as co-creative director will be to design clothes that will help inspire young girls to express their personalities and creativity through fashion.”

Jessica's empire continues to grow! Not bad for a gal who many consider a "dumb blond". She's shown yall, hasn't she?!

Jessica Simpson Talks About Her Proposal From Eric Johnson (VIDEO)

 In an interview with CBS's Early Show, Jessica Simpson gushed about her proposal and engagement to former NFL star Eric Johnson:

"I had to sit on his knee I was shocked…to really get what was happening. I first said 'Yes!' I didn't even try the ring on until 5 minutes in. I just sat there and cried with him. I've already done the traditional thing. I wanted to do something that was different. Eric had a plan a long time ago, He had a [sit-down] with my mom and dad about it...He was a gentleman about it."

I'm sorry, but this engagement seems super in-authentic to me! Very rushed, and let's face it....Jessica (even though I love her dearly) is a hopeless romantic. She would've married the mail guy if he proposed.

I wish her the best, but I'm not betting my money on this!

Jessica Simpson Reacts To Nick Lachey's Engagement

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest's radio show this morning, Jessica Simpson spoke on her ex-husband Nick Lachey's recent engagement news:

"I am extremely, extremely happy for him," she said in the interview, released Thursday morning. "I don't know where all those rumors came from. My mom actually called me and said that everyone was saying that I was 'saddened.' I was just in complete shock. I couldn't be more happy for Nick. Our relationship was over a really long time ago, and it would be nice if everyone could move on with us and really just celebrate the love between him and Vanessa [Minnillo]. I do, and I really wish them nothing but the best."

*side-eye*

I don't believe it! YEAH....I SAID IT!

Ummmmm, can we say AWKWARD!

Are Jessica Simpson And BFF Ken Paves On The Outs?

Awwww. Say it ain't so.....

During a recent interview, the celebrity hairstylist Ken Paves was asked if BFF Jessica Simpson was still on his client list.

Ken had a hard time answering. He replied, “Yes, but no, but… That’s what led to the speculation. We’re both busy. I’ve been working on a lot of things that have kept me in town or traveling.”

Mmmmm Hmmm.....

But an inside source says that’s not the whole story. "Ken is sick of her cycle of dumping friends when she's with a guy. She smothers guys and they dump her. Then she goes back to Ken."

NOOO!!! Why do "boys" have to come between girlfriends (YES, I'm aware Ken is a boy). This makes me sad. Hopefully it's just speculation, but something is telling me it's not.
