R&B singer Ashanti is set to make her mark back into the music scene with her first single for “The Woman You Love”, featuring Busta Rhymes (who is the newest member of Cash Money Records).

In my opinion, the song has that "classic R&B" feel where Ashanti describes trying her hardest in making a relationship work. 

This song is said to be on Ashanti's 5th studio album and released via her own label, Written Entertainment. GET MONEY!

Madonna Still Commands The BIG BUCKS! Inks 3-Album Deal With Interscope!

But of COURSE she does! This is MADONNA we're talking about here!

Madonna’s new album is finished and will be released in March 2012 on Interscope Records, the label and Live Nation Entertainment are expected to announce on Thursday morning. In 2007, Live Nation signed the superstar to a 10-year deal reportedly worth $100 million -- this portion of the commitment is being valued at $40 million, sources say. The Universal Music Group-owned label will release three albums by the Material Girl. Her first single, called “Gimme All Your Luvin,” is due out the last week in January (a demo of the song leaked in early November) just ahead of Madonna’s halftime performance at the Super Bowl on Feb. 5. Two days earlier, the film W.E., which Madonna directed and co-wrote, is scheduled to hit theaters. The as-yet-untitled album is her first in five years. Madonna had been signed to Warner Bros. since 1982. Van Halen, another Warners act, also recently signed with Interscope, adding to an increasingly healthy stable of rock and pop artists who launched their careers in the 80s, which includes U2. Lady Gaga, who is often compared to Madonna, is also on the Interscope roster. The multi-faceted "360" deal includes studio albums, touring, merchandising, fan club/website, DVD’s, music-related television and film projects and associated sponsorship agreements. “We anticipate a very bright future at our new home,” says Madonna's longtime manager Guy Oseary in a statement being issued Dec. 15. Adds Jimmy Iovine, Chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M: "Very rarely does an opportunity like  this come around. We would like to thank Madonna, Guy and Live Nation for their belief in us."

Cassie Releases Trailer For Her New Single "King Of Hearts" (WHEW!!!)

Let me get the particulars out of the way before I go into complete "STAN" mode for this girl and THAT FACE of hers!

Bad Boy representative (and Diddy's main lady) Cassie is HELL BENT on making this music career work as she released a trailer (romancing the boss has it's perks, eh? I'M NOT MAD!!!) for her new single "King of Hearts". The STUNNING singer offered up the visual yesterday on BET's 106 & Park and explained that it would be the first single off her sophomore album due out in 2012.

Now that THAT is out of the way......WHY IS THIS GIRL SO DAMN BEAUTIFUL?!?!?!? I want answers. This should be left for the poets to explain, because I can't come up with the right words. GOOD GAWWWWD!

And what I like most about Cassie (because let's face it....she's not the BEST singer) is that she seems sweet as warm, baked apple pie and probably doesn't realize how GORGE she is! That's endearing.

Kanye West leads nominations with 7, Adele and Bruno Mars score 6, and Lil Wayne gets 5 nods. Surprised? You shouldn't be. I'm predicting Lady Adele to pretty much sweep! She OWNED this year!

Nicki Minaj Unveils New Album Title And Release Date!

Off the success of her platinum debut selling album Pink Friday, rap's reigning queen Nicki Minaj unveiled to her Twitter Barbz the album title and release date for her sophomore effort!

Pink Friday: ROMAN RELOADED will serve as the follow-up to last year’s platinum-selling debut Pink Friday, which spawned the hit single “Super Bass.” It is slated for release on February 14, 2012.

The title is based off Nicki’s flamboyant alter ego Roman Zolanski, described as her gay male counterpart. He can be heard rapping on the Eminem-assisted “Roman’s Revenge” and Trey Songz’ “Bottoms Up.”

The Young Money raptress took to Twitter to inform her Barbz of the exciting news. “Pink Friday : ROMAN RELOADED will be released on Valentines Day, 2012. Heeeee’s baaaacccckkkkk,” she tweeted.

It’s unclear whether the project will be comprised of all new recordings or be a re-release of her debut with additional material.

Thank God that we will finally hear Nicki RAPPING on her follow-up album as opposed to the pop shyt she spit on Pink Friday. Let's face it....I like "angry...animated Nicki". This other persona with the chicken wing around her neck.....I can do without her.

This girl refuses to slow down! And I'm not mad ONE BIT.....

Rihanna has released her second single off her Talk That Talk LP (due out November 21st ) entitled "You Da One". And let's face it....this one will be a smash like the others! VERY CATCHY!

The song, which has an island feel to it, was produced by Dr. Luke (Britney Spears) and written by Ester Dean.

Country Music's biggest night, The 45th Annual Country Music Association Awards (CMAs), went down last night in Nashville, TN at the Bridgestone Arena.

Hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley, stars hit the red carpet to honor the nights biggest and best in country music. Those stars included Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, Sugarland, Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and MORE!

Willow Smith Debuts "The Epiphany" (VIDEO)

GOSH, I love this little girl! Talk about a true talent wrapped up in a 10-yr old body. Her parents have done good with her....

Willow Smith has released this short documentary where she showcases a new song that she has written entitled, "The Epiphany", where she struggles with choosing between wanting to dance or becoming a singer.

The "Whip My Hair" singer is shown in the studio working on the track, and is pretty much "holding court" with how she wants the direction of the song to go.

After a huge break from the music scene, we now can listen new music from R&B star Ashanti entitled “Never Too Far Away”. The song is off the upcoming thriller Dream House starring Daniel Craig (FINE!!! I'm sorry. Everytime I see him or his name anywhere, I have to say that!) and Naomi Watts.

I understand that this isn't really an official first single for Ashanti, but if I can keep it real....I'm not a fan of this song AT ALL!!! It's way too long and anti-climatic.

According to Rap-Up, "The two were working on the singer’s third album, which is said to have a dance, new wave-inspired sound. The Neptunes hitmaker played the keys and vibed with the younger Knowles on the couch during their recent recording sessions."
