Toya Carter's Husband Tweets About Being Free After Gun At The Airport Incident

I'm sure your azz is sorry! You're too pretty to be left in jail...TRUST!

And according to TMZ, they spoke with Mickey "Memphitz" Wright and he wants his gun back! OH LAWWWD.

Wright tells us the judge was "very understanding" of his explanation -- that he had placed the gun in a backpack weeks ago and simply forgot about it -- and released him on bail.

Wright says he was "completely shocked" when TSA agents discovered the gun in his bag -- but tells us, "I had my license and [the judge] did me right and let me out."

He adds, "The TSA did their job ... I just hate that it was me because I'm about positivity and motivation."

When asked if he will ask the court to return the gun, Wright tells us, "Yes, i want my gun back" ... but insists the next time he travels, he'll leave the piece at home.

That would be a good move!

The husband of Lil Wayne's baby mama #1 Toya Carter -- who co-stars alongside her in the BET reality show "Toya: A Family Affair" -- was arrested today at an airport in Atlanta ... after he allegedly tried to bring a gun onto an airplane. Law enforcement tells TMZ, Mickey "Memphitz" Wright put his backpack through the X-ray scanner at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport -- and TSA agents quickly discovered the firearm and called the cops. According to police, Wright had a valid license to carry the weapon ... insisting he had simply forgotten the gun was in his bag -- but it's still illegal to bring it on a plane. Wright was arrested on the spot and transferred to a nearby jail. He is still in custody.

WHEW! Stupidity at it's highest level. You forgot, eh?

Toya come get your man QUICK! He is TOO FINE to be left in jail!

So, it's really happening for Lil Wayne's ex wife Antonia 'Toya' Carter. Her new tell-all book, Priceless Inspiration, is due on shelves this coming February.

The book is poised to shed light on her life with Lil Wayne, her high school sweetheart whom she married on Valentine's Day in 2004 and split in 2006. She also talks about growing up with a drug addict for a mom and having her daughter with Lil Wayne, Reginae, when she was a young teen.
