Amid reports of Dancing With the Stars pro Derek Hough getting cozy with former Hills star Lauren Conrad, Life & Style can exclusively reveal that they're definitely heating up -- and had a very public make-out, to boot! The two were seen locking lips at Beacher's Madhouse at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood on Sept. 28, a close friend of Lauren's confirms to Life & Style. "They were all over each other and making out like crazy," the friend reveals to Life & Style, adding that LC is really falling for the 26-year-old hottie. Just don't expect to see her in the DWTS audience cheering on Derek and partner Ricki Lake. Says the friend, "She's more under the radar than that." The pair were recently spotted out together at Sayers in Hollywood late last week. This hot-and-heavy hookup comes three months after Lauren's breakup with her boyfriend of three years, My Boys actor Kyle Howard. Derek has been linked to Cheryl Cole and actress Shannon Elizabeth in the past. But the dancing pro certainly seems to have Lauren forgetting all about her tough split earlier this summer. "She really likes Derek," Lauren's friend tells Life & Style. "He's a gentleman."

Lauren Conrad's MTV Reality Gets The AX!!!

WTF?!?!?!? This makes me sad!

It appears that reality starlet, and one of my faves, Lauren Conrad's new reality that she was currently filming is a no-go with MTV and the network!

So what happened? Well, LC told The Hollywood Reporter, “We sold a show to MTV, filmed it and are really proud of the final result. MTV felt the subject matter was too high brow for their audience and offered me the opportunity to change the show by incorporating more of my personal life. We agreed going into the project that this show would be an aspirational one, focusing on my career and my goals and not my personal relationships," Conrad continued. We delivered the show that we sold and are sorry MTV didn’t feel their viewers were savvy enough to appreciate it.”

Ooooooh, that was a READ!!!

“We decided not to go ahead with the show,” MTV’s head of programming David Janollari told Entertainment Weekly. “She did do a pilot. ... We love her! We would love her on our network,” Janollari says. “It was a great attempt, but it just didn’t feel like a perfect fit for us now.”

TRANSLATION: LC's show was BORING AS HELL!!!! I guess every show needs a "Heidi and Spencer". Dah well....

Lauren Conrad Coming Back To Reality TV!!!

Lauren Conrad hasn't forgotten her roots. The former Hills star has become a best-selling author, clothing designer and much buzzed-about fashionista, but she now is returning to the career that made her famous – reality TV star. Conrad, 24, spoke about starring in a new MTV reality show about her life as a clothing designer on KIIS FM's On Air With Ryan Seacrest Friday. When Seacrest asked if the rumors of her return were true, Conrad coyly said, "It'd be safe to say [yes] . . . It would follow my career, set in L.A." MTV later confirmed the news.

Stating she has "no regrets" from her time on The Hills, Conrad's catfights with cast members and drama filled departure has taught her not to mix business with pleasure. "I've always been open to doing reality again. It's just under certain circumstances," she said. "As long as you have a separation then it works. You have your personal life and work life and when it's combined it's difficult." When asked if long time boyfriend, Kyle Howard, 32, would be part of the series Conrad replied, "Kyle would not be in it." Conrad, who is busy promoting her new book, Sugar and Spice: An L.A. Candy Novel, and clothing line at Kohl's, will jump back into filming in October. Of the series, Conrad promises, "Details will be announced next week and it will be something very, very different."

Lauren Conrad Returning To Reality TV?!?!

So the rumor around town is that former realty TV star turned author and fashion designer Lauren Conrad may be eyeing a return to realty television!

YEAAAAAH! This makes my heart skip a beat.

Reports are stating that networks have been fighting over her but Lauren says "the only way I'd return to reality TV would be if it allowed me to decide when the cameras stop."

"The Hills" Has Ended (I'm Sad....)

I have been a HUGE fan of The Hills since inception (even going as far back to their Laguna Beach days), so it's with great sadness to see the show end after these years!

We've all watched the drama and good times unfold in these kid's lives, and last night the big finale took place at The Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood with the WHOLE gang including one of the loves of my life, LAUREN CONRAD!!!

I must say that The Hills finale, in my opinion, wasn't the best (kind of a snoozer), but the very last scene showing Kristin saying a tearful goodbye to Brody, presumably for good, before it’s revealed that it was all shot on the back lot of a studio, implying that the show is no more real than Hollywood blockbuster, left some confused. As the camera panned away, the set came down and Kristin jumped out of the car and rushed to hug Brody.

So was it all real or were they gaming us the whole time??? We'll never know I guess......

Noticeably absent from the finale was Spencer Pratt and wife Heidi Montag. It was reported that Spencer was banned from the night's festivities but decided to show up ACROSS the street (in costume) from the finale and have his own party (on the street).

In all seriousness, I know I will regret saying this, but I feel Spencer and Heidi should have been there. They were a HUGE part of the show and contributed to it's success, but I can totally understand WHY they weren't. When you're as toxic as these two, sometimes it's best that they are kept away......

Oh well, it's all over now. Guess Jersey Shore will replace this addiction.

Now that The Hills is wrapping up their super successful reality show, Lauren Conrad, the former star of the hit TV series, is speaking about how a gig on “Laguna Beach” has turned into a full-fledged multifaceted career.

Lauren has gotten into EVERYTHING since leaving the show by expanding her empire into fashion, becoming a NY Times Bestseller and now the big screen. G-SHYT!

I think what truly resonates for audiences when it comes to Lauren is her authenticity. People just genuinely "LIKE" her.

Lauren Conrad Says "NO" To "Hills" Finale!

WELP....there it is!

Contrary to reports, Lauren Conrad will NOT appear on The Hills finale:

"I have no plans to come back. I really liked how I got to leave the show. I felt like it was on a positive note and I feel like they wrapped up my storyline."

I mean...can you blame her? She is CLEARLY on to bigger and better things. And to be associated with those LOSERS Heidi and Spencer would be beneath her!

YEAH.....I SAID IT!

"The Hills" Will End After This Season!

Okay....I don't care what you say, I AM SAD!!!

After 6 seasons (damn, that long?) of the popular MTV reality show, The Hills will be ending once this season wraps. 

Creator Adam DiVello speaks out on the reason: “I think we’ve told the story of struggle and of finding yourself in L.A. A lot of these kids have found themselves and have certainly embarked on different careers and different paths." 

Adam also speaks on Heidi Montag and the scene where she speaks to her parents about the controversial, 10 plastic surgeries in one day that she received: “We tell the whole story. We pick right up where Heidi goes and sees her parents. And our cameras are there that minute the mother opens the door and sees her daughter for the first time.” Adds executive producer Liz Gateley, “It’s a really touching but heartbreaking scene to watch.” 

The final 12 episodes are set to begin airing on April 27 at 10 p.m., and I know for me, all that I care about is Lauren Conrad returning??? 

DiVello promises a satisfying conclusion to the drama that started in Laguna Beach — though there’s one ending fans shouldn’t hold out for: “I always joked it would be nice to see Lauren get married.”

No more "The Hills"??? What will my life become.......
