Mel Gibson Finally Breaks His Silence About His Leaked Audio Rant To Oksana And More!

 Speaking out for the very first time about the HEATED audio recordings between himself and ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva that leaked onto the Internet last summer, Oscar winner Mel Gibson has finally broken his silence to Deadline:

"I've never treated anyone badly or in a discriminatory way based on their gender, race, religion or sexuality -- period. I don't blame some people for thinking that though, from the garbage they heard on those leaked tapes, which have been edited. You have to put it all in the proper context of being in an irrationally, heated discussion at the height of a breakdown, trying to get out of a really unhealthy relationship. It's one terribly, awful moment in time, said to one person, in the span of one day and doesn't represent what I truly believe or how I've treated people my entire life."

I can understand that. We've all said HORRIBLE things in the midst of a heated argument! BUT, Mel Gibson has to understand that many people will NEVER understand or accept his apology. In fact, lots of people have written him off for it.

Asked if he ever thought the hate-filled conversations would end up on the Internet, Gibson sighed and shook his head, saying, "Who anticipates being recorded? Who anticipates that? Who could anticipate such a personal betrayal?"

"I was allowed to end the case and still maintain my innocence. It's called a West plea and it's not something that prosecutors normally allow. But in my case, the prosecutors and the judge agreed that it was the right thing to do," the actor said. "I could have continued to fight this for years and it probably would have come out fine. But I ended it for my children and my family. This was going to be such a circus. You don't drag other people in your life through this sewer needlessly, so I'll take the hit and move on."

He also goes on to praise Whoopi Goldberg for being a loyal friend to him in the midst of the controversy:

"I knew Whoopi before she was Whoopi. And, as she's great and I always liked her and loved her," he said. "I like her even more now because she got it."

Lastly, he opened up about other people not coming to his defense:

"That doesn't bother me. Why would anyone want to speak publicly and drag themselves through this crap? It seems to add fuel to the fire. Very many people are supportive, of course, but you find out who your friends are. I have many friends and they've been great."

It's gonna take A LOT of time, Mr. Gibson. Ask Chris Brown.....

Oksana Grigorieva has just made an explosive allegation under oath that she never before made -- that Mel Gibson beat her during sex.

Yep, that's right...no need to check your glasses/contacts.

Sources tell TMZ ... during Oksana's deposition Tuesday in her custody war with Mel ... she testified that Mel had problems performing and the way he got aroused with her was to beat her.

*collapses*

The claim is as curious as it is shocking, since we're told Oksana never uttered a peep about such violence in her multiple interviews with the L.A. County Sheriff's Department. Oksana has claimed that Mel struck her on January 6, but there is no other allegation of physical violence in the court file -- much of which has been reviewed by TMZ --  or with law enforcement.

We all know that Mel is a few screws loose of PSYCHO, but I don't believe a COT DAMN thing this woman utters out of her mouth!

Mel Gibson's Ex-Wife Comes To His Defense

In shocking news, Mel Gibson's ex-wife Robyn Gibson is coming to his defense against his baby-mommy Oksana Grigorieva.

"Mel never engaged in any physical abuse of any kind toward me before, during or after our marriage," Robyn Gibson said in a declaration to a Los Angeles judge overseeing the custody battle between Gibson and Grigorieva. "Mel was a wonderful and loving father."

Well, Well, Well........

A source close to Robyn says, "Robyn felt she needed to speak out to protect her children and family. Robyn's tried to stay out of this, but she wanted to make sure there was no speculation of what happened within her family."

Good for her!

I think I've changed my posistion on this whole Mel Gibson debacle. I admit previously that I acted purely on emotion when I heard the word "ni**as", and the HORRIFIC way he spoke about killing and beating the mother of his child.

But, I NOW feel that Mel Gibson needs severe help! And hearing those tapes, just proved that this man is NOT healthy. And what do you do when you're not healthy (mentally)? You should seek help!!!

Hopefully Mel will do that.

Mel Gibson Files Restraining Order Against Baby-Momma!

Going through what seems to be quite the nasty split, Mel Gibson has reportedly filed a restraining order against his babymamma Oksana Grigorieva. While the former lovers insisted that their April 2010 breakup was amicable, Mel has since submitted paperwork at the Los Angeles Superior Court to keep Miss Grigorieva from coming near him. A Radar Online report tells that, along with a temporary restraining order, Mel has filed "a notice about a forthcoming court hearing and a notice of visitation rights and child custody." At the time of their parting of ways, Oksana had told press, “I can tell you that we have split up, suddenly and recently. Unfortunately, I cannot give you the reason. But you will find out everything quite soon."

Larry King Gets ANOTHER Divorce + Mel Gibson Splits From Baby Momma!

COT DAMN!!! What happened to the good ole days when people stayed together for 269 years and were "happy"??? Does that exist anymore???

Larry King has filed for divorce for the 8th time (YEP....you heard that right) from his wife Shawn Southwick. In court documents, "irreconcilable differences" was cited as the cause of the split. Larry, 76, and Shawn, 50, were married back in 1997; they have two sons together.

Come on!!! Seriously though: 8 TIMES??? The man is pretty much on life support, people! And TWO kids??? I know damn well they had help from a doctor, because I know all of his pipes could NOT be working any longer!
