Today's Phrase That Pays Goes To...

video platformvideo managementvideo solutionsvideo player

......Paris Jackson on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (and it's a two-parter) on wearing masks as a little girl, and what her father, Michael Jackson, taught her!
"I [was] like 'This is stupid why am I wearing a mask?' But I kind of realized the older I got like he only tried to protect us and he'd explain that to us too."

"He said if I die tomorrow, always remember what I told you. And I took his advice, and I remembered everything he told me."
*tear*

This girl is one to watch out for! She is so poised, smart and level-headed. AND, she appears to be un-affected by "everything".

Paris Jackson Lands First Movie Role!

WOW! I wonder would dad Michael Jackson be proud of her for accomplishing this? Or would he be furious his children are in the spotlight?
Paris Jackson, daughter of the late pop icon Michael Jackson. Paris, 13, will star in an upcoming live action-animated film called “Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys,” based on the young adult fantasy book series by Dennis H. Christen. The movie’s official website says Paris will play heroine Lundon O’Malley in the story where “sea magic turns a dolphin into a human, a teenage boy into a dragonfly and a loving jellyfish queen into an evil fairy godmother.” Paris’s castmates in the movie, for which a release date has not been set, will include Larry King and his wife, Shawn King, and Joey Fatone of the pop band N’Sync. “I Wanna Leave My Footprints On The Sands Of Time. When I Leave This World I’ll Leave No Regrets. I’ll Leave Something For Them Not To Forget,” Paris tweeted yesterday, after news of her acting debut was confirmed. Paris’s movie debut marks the latest step in her public transformation since the June 2009 death of her father at the age of 50.

Conrad Murray Sentenced To The MAXIMUM In Michael Jackson Death

Via People:
Dr. Conrad Murray was sentenced Tuesday to the maximum penalty of four years behind bars for administering a lethal dose of a powerful anesthetic to Michael Jackson. "He violated the trust of the medical community, of his colleagues and of his patient," said Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor, "and he has absolutely no sense of remorse, absolutely no sense of fault, and is and remains dangerous." Murray, 58, was convicted of manslaughter in the 2009 death of the pop star at age 50 as he was preparing for a major concert series in the U.K. At a sentencing hearing, Jackson family attorney Brian Panish told the court, "We're are not here to seek revenge. There is nothing that you can do today that will ring back Michael." But the family joined the prosecution in seeking the maximum sentence. As Panish spoke, Jackson's mother Katherine Jackson became teary eyed. Jackson's brothers Randy and Jermaine and sister La Toya also were in the audience section. Murray's attorney David Chernoff, who had argued at trial that Jackson caused his own death by self-administering medication while Murray wasn't looking, suggested Jackson wasn't as vulnerable as prosecutors said. "Michael Jackson was a drug seeker and he sought it out from Dr. Murray , who was wrong in providing it," said Chernoff. "He sought it out from other doctors. He was a powerful, famous, wealthy individual, with lawyers, security and staff and advisors." Asking for probation rather than incarceration, Chernoff pointed to Murray's good work before he treated Jackson and suggested the physician could do more for the community outside of jail. But in a lengthy, blistering response, Pastor said Murray was "involved in a cycle of horrible medicine" and "engaged in a recurring continuous patter of deceit, of lies." By administering propofol to help Jackson sleep, "He engaged in this money for medical madness that simply is not going to be tolerated by me." Murray, who has been in jail since the verdict, was led out of the courtroom in handcuffs and will likely serve his time in a county lockup. The prosecution also requested that Murray pay a staggering $100 million in restitution, the amount that Jackson's estate estimated he would have earned had he completed the concert tour. That issue was postponed for a later hearing.

The Verdict Is In: Dr. Conrad Murray Found.....

....GUILTY of involuntary manslaughter!!! WOW....this is a complete shock to me. I did not expect this ruling.
Dr. Conrad Murray was convicted Monday of involuntary manslaughter in the drug-overdose death of singer Michael Jackson after a jury deliberated for two days. Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor handed the case to the seven-man, five-woman jury Thursday after closing arguments by prosecutor David Walgren and lead defense lawyer Ed Chernoff. Over nearly six weeks of testimony, jurors heard from 33 prosecution witnesses and 16 defense witnesses. More than 340 exhibits were available in the jury room as the panel mulled a verdict. Jackson, 50, died on June 25, 2009, of an overdose of the surgical anesthetic propofol, aggravated by effects of the sedative lorazepam. Murray, 58, was charged with a single count of involuntary manslaughter. He pleaded not guilty.
Dr. Murray was pretty much expressionless when the verdict was read. Was he in shock?!?! I never once believed that Dr. Murray intended on "Killing" Michael Jackson, but let's face it....he damn sure didn't do anything to prevent it from happening. This is what happens when celebs have people around them on payroll who will give and do anything to keep the $$$ rolling in. Hopefully this is a lesson to many of you celebs out there.

The Houston cardiologist, 58, faces a sentence of up to four years in prison. He could also lose his medical license. He also was remanded into custody without bail pending sentencing on Nov. 29th.

Thoughts, Dancers?

Chris Brown Has A "Stan" In Paris Jackson!

Every time I see Michael Jackson's children, my heart breaks a little....but not this time! It's so good to see the GREAT job that Katherine Jackson has done with these children since losing their father! They are doing the normal things that teenagers should do, and let's face it....I'm not sure if they would've or COULD HAVE experienced this if their father was still alive.

On Thursday night, Michael's daughter Paris Jackson and her friends were quite the screaming young gals as they took in the Chris Brown concert on his F.A.M.E tour when it hit the Los Angeles’ Staples Center.

Check out some photos of Paris at the concert with Chris and T-Pain under the break.....

Janet Jackson Joins Her Family At The Conrad Murray Trial

Before I get into this Post, what is going on with this hair, my JJ?!?!? NO BUENO! This is something my mother would rock, and let's face it....you and my mom should NOT be rocking the same hairstyle. I'm not ashamed to admit that....

Now that the Conrad Murray manslaughter trial has gotten underway for the murder of Michael Jackson, the Jackson family are showing their unwavering support in making sure that Dr. Murray gets his just due for what he allegedly did to their brother and son.

Joining the family was baby sister (one of the true loves of my life) Janet Jackson who held hands with brother Randy as they entered the Los Angeles Courthouse for opening statements in Los Angeles, California yesterday.

Today's Phrase That Pays Goes To...

....Aaron Carter (yes, VERY random but peep what this fool said about Michael Jackson).
"I never talked about it... This is the first time. I do... I miss Michael... I have spent such incredible times with him. I did things with him that nobody else did... But I was also troubled about what he did to me... Yes, he gave me wine. I mean, I could have refused, but I was 15. He gave me cocaine. I felt weird about that and other stuff... We spoke afterwards, hours and hours, on the phone. I admired Michael, but his behavior bothered me a lot. Then my mother called the police..."
Somebody...Anybody. Please let Pizza-Face borrow a chair so that he can have a BIG SEAT!!!!

Anything to get back in the spotlight, eh Aaron? SMH

Michael Jackson's Children And The Smith Kids Play Nice In The SandBox!

Oh to be young, loved and come from $$$$. *sigh* My parents CLEARLY didn't work hard enough!

Michael Jackson's children - Prince, Paris and Blanket - along with Willow and Jaden Smith were spotted enjoying each other's company last week on Will’s “Men In Black III” movie set.

It's being reported that the brood rode bikes, danced around set, and laughed together the entire way through.

It's great to see these children REALLY enjoying their youth as opposed to living in seclusion. Yes?

Michael Jackson's Kids Are Well Adjusted! (VIDEO)

This honestly brought tears to my eyes!

GMA's Robin Roberts had the pleasure of meeting and sitting down with Katherine Jackson and her son Michael Jackson's 3 children - Prince, 14, Paris, 12, Blanket, 9 - for an exclusive interview on what life is like now for MJ's kids after his untimely death.

In the above clip, Michael's kids appear "very normal" (I hate using that term, but it's true. No one ever knew anything about them or their lives, because Michael kept them away from the public eye) as they paid a visit to a local charity in LA.

As for what the kids are like now: Prince - "I'm looking at a couple of opportunities in show business – mostly producing." Alright now! Paris - she wants to be an actress, "I'm thinking about auditioning for a play next week." And as for the youngest charmer, Blanket? Well, he is just busy now being adorable! Too cute!

Check out the the clip above!

Sidebar - Did we peep how Gradma Katherine told Prince to stop slouching? Yes, Ma'am!!! Got him RIGHT together on camera...LOL

The Jackson Family Spotted Arriving To The Dr. Conrad Murray Hearing

Some of the Jackson family were seen arriving to the Los Angeles courthouse today for a hearing to determine if Dr. Conrad Murray will go to trial to defend against manslaughter charges in the death of Michael Jackson.

On hand was mother Katherine Jackson, LaToya Jackson, Tito and Jermaine.

A rep for the family told press, "What is incredibly ironic is that Michael told his mother shortly before he died that he thought someone was going to kill him ... and they were going to kill him for his catalog."

Still so very sad. SMH

Check it out.

It was a very eye-opening interview (as only Oprah could do) that gives you a deeper insight into Michael's life as a FATHER and also how smart his children are. He did GREAT with them.

But if you know what I know, you better get to it before Harpo takes this interview down.....they don't play any games!

Never Before Seen Images Of Michael Jackson

Here are never before seen images of the great Michael Jackson that was photographed by famed French photographer Arno Bani. The shots reportedly have been released for a new book Michael Jackson: The Auction (due out at the end of the year) and also for the cover of Jackson's 1999 album Invincible.

Talking about working with Jackson at the time, Bani said: 'I had carte blanche. I was young but he was more of a kid than I was. He asked me to dream, to play with haute couture - it was like solving a puzzle.'

Michael looks great in these shots! Awwwww, I miss him....

Awwwww, Michael Jackson's Kids Have Fun On Youtube!

Thank GAWWWWD they're normal! I was concerned......

Check out a YouTube clip of Michael Jackson's kids Paris, 12, and Blanket, 8, having fun for the cameras.
In one clip, Paris looks at the camera and whines, "Monkey, please help." Blanket, who is known for being the shyest of Michael's kids, stars in several videos, reveals his extroverted side in videos where he enthusiastically recreates a scene from Star Wars, bounces around and sings with cousin Donte (one of Jermaine Jackson's sons), and pretends he's Vincent van Gogh. He also makes several mentions of "Mike Wazowski," presumably a reference to the one-eyed creature from Monsters, Inc.
